Policies and Shipping Information

Shipping Rates
You will be charged only what we are charged by UPS for shipping. All orders will be sent UPS ground except for small items. Small, lightweight items may be shipped through USPS to reduce freight cost, unless otherwise requested.

Shipping Policies
Most orders received by 1 PM (MST) will ship the same day. UPS cannot ship to PO boxes. If we are unable to ship your order within 4 days of receiving it we will notify you, and tell you the reason for the delay. Please allow 10 business days before calling on the status of an order. For shipping outside the contiguous United States call for rates or email to info@bigskyhomebrew.com. Big Sky Homebrew only ships within the continental United States.

Payment Methods
We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover cards. Personal or business checks are accepted. Allow 10 days for your check to clear and your order to be sent. Make checks payable to Big Sky Homebrew Supply. Sorry, no C.O.D.'s.

Returns
Unused, unopened items (excluding perishable items) may be returned within 30 days of purchase for any reason. Returned items must be in original packaging and accompanied by sales receipt or shipping invoice. Shipping charges are the customer's responsibility. We will not accept a return for non-defective merchandise once it has been used.

Defective equipment will be replaced within one year of purchase. If shipping back to us is required we will pay for shipping costs. You must contact us to arrange return shipping.

Returns on perishable items (i.e. food products) will not be accepted, unless defective. Returns of defective perishable items must be completed within 30 days of purchase. Procedure and use of ingredients are the responsibility of the customer. Big Sky Homebrew Supply is not responsible for a batch that went bad.

Discounts
If your order is larger than $275 (excluding shipping) you earn a 10% discount on the total product order. If the order is greater than $400 (excluding shipping) you earn a 15% discount. These discounts do not apply to conical stainless fermenters.

Big Sky Homebrew Supply has the widest selection of homebrew and winemaking supplies in Montana. Located in Great Falls Montana, Big Sky Homebrew Supply has been serving homebrewers and winemakers since 1994. Great Falls, Montana is located in the "Golden Triangle" of central Montana, along the path which Lewis & Clark took on the Voyage of Discovery. Big Sky Homebrew Supply carries over thirty varieties of base and specialty malts for homebrewing. Our featured liquid malt extracts are Munton's English malts, in light, wheat, amber. and dark. We also carry Munton's dry malt extracts in light, wheat, amber, and dark. We stock a wide variety of liquid ale and lager yeasts from White Labs, in "pitchable vials". Featured dry ale yeasts include, Munton's, Nottingham, Windsor, Doric, and Safbrew. We have over 30 kinds of homebrew kits with a broad range of styles and tastes. We also carry a wide choice of Domestic hops and imported hops. We carry them in leaf hop and pelletized hop forms. Big Sky Homebrew also carries grain malts. Base malts we stock include six-row malt, Great Western 2-row malt, Great Western wheat malt, Gambrinus Pilsner malt, and Munton's Maris Otter. We stock several varieties of Briess crystal malt. Specialty malts in stock include Munich, Vienna, Carapils(R), Caristan(R), Chocolate, Black Patent, Roasted Barley, Victory, Special B, Biscuit, and Brown ( Amber) malt. Unique grains we have in stock include Weyermann Acidulated malt(R), Weyermann Honey Malt(R), Weyermann Melanoidin(R), and Weyermann Rauch(R), Weyermann peated malt(R), as well as carawheat(R) and karaffe(R) malts. We stock adjunct grains including flaked oats, flaked corn, flaked barley and torriefied wheat.

Big Sky Homebrew Supply also carries a several varieties of crown cap and E-Z Cap bottles. Big Sky Homebrew Supply's line of homebrewing equipment is also the largest in Montana, boasting numerous plastic fermenters and glass fermenters in various sizes. We have five and six gallon glass carboys, and are the only dealer in Montana selling the "Fermenator" line of stainless steel conical fermenters. Besides plastic and glass fermenters, Big Sky Homebrew Supply carries a wide variety of homebrew equipment including cappers, German mini kegs, tap-a-draft systems, hydrometers, brewing spoons, brew bands, the thief, oxygentors, mash paddles, wort chillers, bottle and carboy brushes to name a few. We carry all-grain homebrew equipment including stainless steel false bottoms, "Phil's" spargers, and cooler conversion valves. Need a homebrew beer recipe? Big Sky Homebrew Supply carries a numerous homebrew recipe books. Our in-store library is a great resource for homebrew recipes of all kinds.

Big Sky Homebrew Supply also carries winemaking equipment and wine making kits. Wine making kits are a great way to get acquainted with the winemaking process and have some great wine at a great price! We carry wine making kits from various manufactures including Winexpert and RJ Spagnols. Winexpert wine kits we carry include Vintners Reserve, Selections and Crushendo Kits. We carry a wide variety of winemaking additives such as campden tablets, potassium metabisulfite, yeast nutrients, tannins, and oak products. In addition to 5 and 6 gallon glass fermenters, Big Sky Homebrew also carries gallon glass jugs and several colors of 750 ml wine bottles in Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Rhine styles. We carry Nomacorc synthetic, duo disk, natural, and agglomerated corks in several sizes. We have wine pumps, presses, filtration units and filters. Big Sky Homebrew also carries a wide variety of other closures for wine bottles, including expansion corks, t-corks, champagne corks, and numerous sizes of drilled rubber stoppers.
